The House:
Tresawl, in beautiful North Cornwall between Port Isaac and Rock, is a much loved, 6 bedroom 5 bathroom, self-catering holiday cottage with outstanding panoramic sea views towards The Rumps, Polzeath and beyond. Located on the path to the tidal cove of Epphaven, next to Lundy Bay, Tresawl sleeps up to 14 (plus a cot) in comfortably furnished bedrooms including a separate annexe opposite the kitchen. Epphaven is a wonderfully unspoilt family beach with rock pools and mussels, as well as sand at low tide for games and surfing – or an ideal sunset walk after supper for you and your dog!
History & Renovation:
The house has been in our family since 1970. It always had the magnificent view, but the garden was so overgrown that you could not see out of the windows and there was no mains electricity. It is substantially different nowadays! We love the location as it is so unspoilt and yet close to all the buzz of Polzeath, Rock & Padstow. The house was completely renovated in 2011 and refurbished from the ground up. With underfloor heating, a new roof and a powerful log burner, this wonderful location can be enjoyed in complete comfort all year round. 2 new boilers ensure any brave sea adventurers can be warmed up in any of the 5 bathrooms.
